80 Over Eighty

Family Eldercare’s 80 Over Eighty is an annual celebration where we share heartwarming stories of our friends and neighbors in Central Texas who are 80 and older. The event shares the rich tapestry of our older adult neighbors and the diversity of their experiences.

Today’s 80+ year old’s are the architects of the music scene we love in Austin and nationwide. Their zest for life makes one thing clear: 80 is the new 50! And, Central Texas is home to some of the most vibrant, interesting 80+ year old’s you can meet. Join us at the Hyatt Regency to share and celebrate the inspiring stories of our honorees with a special performance by the “Godfather of Austin Blues”, W.C. Clark.

Proceeds raised from the event help fund essential services that directly impact the lives of older adults, veterans, and adults with disabilities living in Central Texas. Tickets include admission to the event and breakfast.
