  1. Cain and Abel’s is a staple for The University of Texas at Austin. This bar/restaurant always has weekly deals on food and drinks. Their food is underrated, and their Texas Teas are a must try. Their staff is really friendly, and they all work hard. Sometimes this place can get overly crowded when it’s dollar beers (Tuesday) or Tea Thursday. This leads to the place getting dirty quick, but that is bound to happen when their specials are going on.

  2. This place is the go-to place for amazing food and drinks. Everyone who works here is super nice and fun to talk to. Love you Cain and Ables

  4. Do you want to go to that one college town bar you loved when you were in college yourself? Well, every town has one and what do you know, this is it for Austin. I’d rank a similar bar as a 2.5 or 3, but this fratercide friendly is establishment scores highly on their menu and draught beer selection. If a college bar is not what you want, don’t come, if it is, you can’t go wrong

  5. Just stopped in for an appetizer but got the daily special of SW chicken wrap with chipotle mayo- it’s the best I’ve ever had. Bartender is very nice & friendly. At least 6 tv screens, it’d be a great place to watch sports. Beer is cold!

  6. You wanna know where the heart of West Campus is? It’s here, at Cain and Abel’s. Not only is it the best college bar on campus, Dollar Beer Tuesdays is a religious experience. You have to experience it. Go in with some friends, order a bucket of 6 bottles, grab a table, watch some sports or play some pool upstairs and have great conversations. If beer isn’t your thing, get a few margs or a Texas tea. One of those teas will mess you up good for a fun night. Stop by and check it out!

  8. Their $2 margs are SUCH a good deal! They’re cheap and taste good. The waitresses are very nice and attend to you on time. Also bought a side of fries for like $2 and it fed like 2-3 people, very good!

  9. Best bar in west campus. Get the Texas tea if you want a night of fun. Also I really think the sliders are amazing. Sandwiches so so. Not a huge fan of the fries or queso. Best place for juniors and seniors to meet up on a Tuesday night. Or during any sports event.

  10. We were old. They were young. Ok then. Got past that. Good beer selection. Great bartenders. Good prices. Excellent on campus bar.

  11. I’m not sure what it was about this place, but I liked it. Came here on a weeknight during Spring Break when I was in town for SXSW. The place was pretty dead, but somehow got into two conversations with other patrons and the staff. Good beer selection, and they have different drink specials every night. My friend and I both got two random beers without looking at the prices and it was like $11 after tax. Not bad. I’d go back.
