Bill Nace is an artist and musician based in Philadelphia, PA. He has collaborated with an extraordinary range of musicians, including Michael Morley, Graham Lambkin, Matt Krefting, Twig Harper, Jooklo Duo, chik white, John Truscinski, Thurston Moore, Jake Meginsky, Jessica Rylan, Paul Flaherty, Wally Shoup, Aaron Dilloway, and Kim Gordon, with whom he regularly plays as one half of the duo Body/Head. In 2020 Nace released the critically acclaimed solo record “BOTH” on Drag City. A collaboration with Gordon and Dilloway — “Body/Dilloway/Head” — is out now on Three Lobed Records and his newest solo LP Through a Room was released in November on Drag City.
He has been a featured musician in festivals such as ATP (curated by Jim Jarmusch and held in Monticello, NY), Colour Out of Space(Brighton, UK), Supersonic Festival (Birmingham, UK), International Festival Musique Actuelle (Victoriaville, QC), and Homegrown (Boston, MA). He has performed in a wide variety of venues, running the gamut from the Musee d’Art Contemporain (Strasbourg, France) to The Stone (NYC) to Bennington College (Vermont). Nace´s range has been described as “veering from sculptural, almost Remko-Scha-esque chime to Loren Connors-style elegance in only a few short moves.” (Mimaroglu Music, 2010).
In addition to Drag City and Three Lobed, recordings can be found on Ecstatic Peace (Northampton, MA), Ultra Eczema (Belgium), Holidays (Italy), Throne Heap (VA), HP Cycle (Toronto, ON), as well as on Nace´s own label Open Mouth.

Tara Bhattacharya a.k.a Subaltern Tongue is an experimental musician, singer, performance artist, and filmmaker living and working in Austin, TX. She graduated with a degree in Art History and Asian-American studies from Hunter College, NY. Tara´s musical oeuvre encompasses a wide variety of different genres including improvisation, electronic compositions, chamber music, and Bengali folk songs. Her audiovisual practice reflects upon the sociopolitical ideas, attitudes, writings, film, and music from American and Japanese subcultures of the fifties, sixties, seventies, and eighties.
She runs Antumbra Intermedia Events + Installations, regularly curating experimental music events, sound installations, and film/video screenings in Austin, TX. Her struggles as a woman of color also factors into the majority of her creative output. She founded Interference Fest: Women Making Noise, an audiovisual festival that incorporates poetry, sound art, video, and mind-body workshops. The emphasis of the festival is on the care, consideration, and concern of all underrepresented artists working today and providing a designated space for positive reinforcement, community, and self-expression.
She has performed on KOOP Radio, KUTX, The Carpenter Hotel, Blanton Museum of Art, The Contemporary Austin, Salvage Vanguard Theater, The Volstead, Museum of Human Achievement, Alamo Drafthouse, Violet Crown Cinema, and Austin Film Society. Outside of Austin, TX, she has been invited to play at Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, Switzerland, Secret Project Robot, NY Anthology Film Archives, NY, The Museum of Modern Art, NY and Mercury Project Contemporary Art Space in San Antonio, TX.
She is currently in the process of recording an album with Band of Susans frontman, Robert Poss.
