Smoke Signals at Hyperreal Film Club

Join Hyperreal Film Club for a screening of Smoke Signals, the first widely released movie that not only is about Native Americans but also is starring, written by, and directed by Native Americans.

Smoke Signals follows two young men on the road, Victor (Adam Beach), a jaded and angry young man and his reluctant friend, a dweeby but well meaning boy from childhood, named Thomas (Evan Adams). Leaving the reservation for the first time, they embark on a journey to exhume the ashes of Victor’s late father, a man he found to be a massive disappointment, but Thomas found to be a hero.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the film starts at 7:30 p.m. See you at the movies!
