I Love You So Much Sign at Jo’s Coffee
In 2010, local musician Amy Cook took a can of red spray paint and wrote this five-word love letter to her partner, majority owner of Jo’s Coffee, Liz Lambert. It’s now become the most recognizable photo-op mural in Austin.

This icon is located at 1720 S. First Street and was recreated by Roadhouse Relics artist and owner Todd Sanders and his friend Rory Skagen in 1998. In August 2013, Sanders began a restoration with help from Skagen and Creative Action Color Squad.

Stevie Ray Vaughn Statue
Sculptor Ralph Helmick’s Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute in bronze on the shores of Town Lake in Austin TX. Vaughan is shown standing upright, “meditatively,” wearing a broad-brimmed hat, a serape, and cowboy boots. Helmick claimed that he drew inspiration from Michelangelo’s famous nude statue of David.

Barton Springs Pool
Within Zilker Park’s 358 acres lies one of the crown jewels of Austin – Barton Springs Pool. The pool itself measures three acres in size, and is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees, ideal for year-round swimming. Over the years, Barton Springs Pool has drawn people from all walks of life, from legislators who have concocted state laws there to free-spirited, topless sunbathers who turned heads in the 1970s. Robert Redford learned to swim at the pool when he was five years old while visiting family in Austin. Today, Barton Springs still attracts a diverse crowd of people and has seen record setting numbers of visitors nearing 800,000 in recent years.

Town Lake is a major recreation area for the City of Austin.
