Antone’s Nightclub, Austin’s “Home of the Blues” that helped launch the careers of Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Gary Clark Jr. and many more, celebrated its 50th Anniversary on July 15, 2025. To commemorate its rich history, the club is bringing its singular sound to Los Angeles for the first time since the 1980s. Antone’s 50th Allstars will perform selections from The Last Real Texas Blues Album, available everywhere via Antone’s Records New West Records on August 22.
Kim Wilson of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Big Bill Morganfield (son of Muddy Waters, co-star of 2024’s A Complete Unknown), Lurrie Bell (son of Carey Bell, Koko Taylor’s Blues Machine), Kam Franklin of The Suffers, Rodd Bland (son of Bobby “Blue” Bland), Anson Funderburgh, Derek O’Brien, Joe Sublett, and very special guests unite at The Troubadour for one night only – Blue Monday, September 22 – for the undisputed Blues event of the year in Los Angeles.
