About this Taurus Season

Now that we have rushed our way through Aries season, it´s time to slow it down in Taurus season. I myself have been doing this, as I am a little late getting this on the website. It´s almost like rest is important for your well-being and coming “back to center” or something. Anyway, Taurus is an earth sign and is ruled by Venus, who wants us to luxuriate, so appreciate the slower pace and let yourself enjoy the things that make you feel good. Expect someone with this sun and/or rising sign to be steady, sensual, and reliable. Taurus enjoys the little things that activate their five senses and bring them pleasure – a good meal, comfortable clothes, and plenty of sleep are definitely on that list. Do not disturb their rest! They can also be overindulgent, lethargic, and quite stubborn, so once they dig their heels in, good luck getting them to budge. With a strong Venusian influence, Taurus thrives the best when they allow themselves to truly conserve their energy while resting. That way, they can make better use of their time towards the pursuit of their goals and not involve themselves in situations that waste their time. Time is money, and money is another resource that Taurus takes seriously. Once they have a set goal or plan in mind, however, the determination and perseverance of a Taurus is unmatched.
Help celebrate the Taurus in your life by indulging in their favorite of their five senses – food! Take them out to eat at their favorite restaurant. Nothing says “I love you” in Taurus better than letting them feast to their heart´s content. As they are Venus-ruled, Taurus tend to love the arts, but are very particular about their taste in art, music, and movies – the vibe has to be just right. If their favorite band or artist is touring, get them tickets, check out that gallery exhibition they´ve been wanting to see, or take them to a sip and paint class and make it an interactive night. If they are a nature fan, take them on a hike or maybe plan a picnic at a local park that they love. Taurus rules the neck and throat, and it´s not uncommon for them to have lovely speaking or singing voices. They also like “pretty shinies”, so a necklace with a gemstone that fits their personal aesthetic is usually a winner. No fake stones or cheap quality, Taurus places value in things that are both beautiful and lasting. A massage is also an excellent gift for them. They love a spa day, thrive from safe and welcomed human touch, and any opportunity to relax and get their neck rubbed is a great day for them. Taureans are creatures of habit and make their likes and dislikes very evident early on, so sticking with what you know they love is the way to go with gifts.
