Austin Brass Band Presents: October

Join us for our fall concert performing Eric Whitacre’s mesmerizing “October”.

Also featuring soloist Christian Lopez on Bass Trombone performing Steven Verhelst’s “Capriccio”.

Concert also includes pieces by John Williams, Oliver Waespi, Jan Van der Roost, and more.

This event is family friendly, free and open to the public!

The Austin Brass Band comprises local brass and percussion musicians in central Texas who are passionate about the British brass banding tradition.

Founded in 2005, the band has entertained the Austin area for nearly two decades, performing at venues throughout central Texas.

In 2019 they made their debut at the North American Brass Band Association Championships, and returned in 2024, earning high marks for their soloists.

In May 2023, they were proud to be one of the founding bands at the inaugural Texas Brass Fest in Round Top, TX.

The Austin Brass Band is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing opportunities for professional and amateur brass and percussion players from the Austin and surrounding area to learn, perform, and share high quality British style brass band music with their community.
