Bolm Arts Presents: Ode to the Book

Apr 18, 2024
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Books have always been an essential part of our lives, serving as a gateway to worlds beyond our imagination. They take us on adventures, introduce us to fascinating characters, and transport us to different times and places.

In this exhibit, visitors will be able to experience the artistry of books through a variety of forms. It features a diverse collection of art including detailed illustrations, letterpress prints, book shrine sculptures, art books, and art made from book pages. Elevating them beyond their functional purpose, artists Stephen Dubov, Sandra C. Fernandez, Emily Mitchell, Kyle Schlesinger, Jennie Tudor Gray and Beckette Rivera have created their own unique tribute to books.

Join us on an unforgettable journey that will awaken your senses and showcase the many ways in which books can inspire.

In addition to our regular programming, Bolm Arts is excited to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day with you on Saturday, April 27!

Our neighbor, Time Being Books, will be open for the Austin Book Trail from 11am – 4pm on Saturday, April 27th at 5305 Bolm Rd. Austin, TX 78721 (Upstairs in Bay 8).
