Live Music: Ghosts of Hill County
Ghosts of Hill County are a rising Texas band rooted in the heart of the state’s Hill Country. A genre-bending Texas Country Music band hailing from the heart of Texas with Red Dirt grit and a touch of southern rock, they pair gritty storytelling with a modern edge. The band consists of vocalist Randall Clowdus, guitarist Roy Hudson, bassist Steve Williams, and drummer Carson Brooks.
Their sound blends traditional country roots with a southern rock ‘n’ roll grunge sensibility, built around raw energy and heartfelt lyrics. One of their tracks, “Good Ol’ Boys,” reached the American Country Music Chart Top 100 — a nostalgic ode to Texas nights with friends — and the band has been steadily building its following through honky-tonk and festival shows across the region.
