Live Music: Los Lonely Boys
Los Lonely Boys are a Grammy-winning trio of brothers from San Angelo, Texas. They play a style they call “Texican Rock n’ Roll,” combining rock and roll, Texas blues, brown-eyed soul, country, and Tejano music, and consist of Henry (guitar, vocals), Jojo (bass, vocals), and Ringo Garza (drums, vocals). They follow in the footsteps of their father, who led a South Texas conjunto band called the Falcones.
Their breakthrough came in 2004 with the smash ballad “Heaven.” The single hit number one on the Billboard adult contemporary chart and reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, and in 2005 the song won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. After a hiatus, the brothers reunited and returned with their first album in over a decade, Resurrection, released in 2024.
