Live Music: Marley Hale

Jul 7, 2026
12:00 am - 2:00 am

Marley Hale is an Austin-born singer-songwriter whose music blends classic country, folk, and Americana with timeless storytelling and a warm, expressive voice.

Although she was raised in Northern California and later based in Brooklyn, New York, Hale’s Texas roots continue to shape her songwriting and musical identity.

She first learned guitar from her father at age 10 and began writing songs shortly afterward, developing a style influenced by traditional country and folk icons.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Loretta Lynn, Gillian Welch, Karen Dalton, Bob Dylan, Kate Bush, and David Bowie, Hale creates songs that balance vintage country sounds with deeply personal lyrics.

Her music explores themes of love, longing, resilience, and self-discovery through elegant melodies and thoughtful storytelling.
