Live Music: Suede ATX

Suede (also styled Suede ATX) is a high-energy variety cover band out of Austin, fronted by veteran showman Robert Wagner, who has been with the group since the mid-2000s. Austin Music Award winners for “Best Cover Band,” SUEDE has been at the vanguard of the local and regional music scene in Central Texas for over a decade, and the band has billed itself as a perennial fan favorite for around 19 years running.

Their set list pulls iconic hits across multiple eras and genres, from classic rock to modern pop. Suede brings high-energy hits from icons like Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Harry Styles, Maroon 5, Tears for Fears, The Killers, and The Weeknd, with alternating lead vocalists giving the show wide range. They’ve played coast to coast, including stops at venues like Radio City Music Hall, but remain a staple of the Texas Hill Country live circuit.
