Austin’s noted slogan “Keep It Weird” reaches new heights in October as Halloween in Austin approaches. Austin’s 6th Street becomes an adult Halloween Party in the streets Halloween night. But the festivities aren’t relegated to a single night or street, Halloween has become a week long bacchanal all over the city.

Looking down (above) on the infamously haunted Driskill Hotel from the balcony at Buffalo Billiards at 6th and Brazos in the heart of Austin’s Halloween festivities. Festivities on 6th Street take place from far West 6th at Pressler St. to far East 6th at Calles St. Transportation across the gauntlet is plenty in the way of pedicabs, rental scooters and mopeds.
