Check us out during the daytime to avoid the night time crowd and parking hassles. No matter what time you stop by, chances are you’ll be shopping to a great soundtrack.

  1. i love this shop and reminds me of some of the shops that we used to have in Vancouver BC. Great selection of music and pop culture items. I bought some patches for some of my friends home like the Young Ones. prices were decent even with the exchange. i had a good heart to heart with one of the employees which was one of the high lights of my holiday.

  3. This is horror fan heaven. Don’t let the name fool you! Posters, shirts, action figures, bobble heads – you name it! All based on your favorite horror movies!

  4. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

It’s small and cramped but you can spend hours in it. Guy behind the counter (assuming they are Aaron?) was very friendly and the prices for things are about average you find anywhere.

But the selection is perfectly random; they go beyond the same old “classic” rock n roll/horror merch and include some truly off the wall stuff.

I bought some buttons, a patch, and playing cards. I would come back again (and again).

  6. We recently had a really fun trip to Austin and stumbled across Aaron’s Rock & Roll.
As a music player and lover this store took me back to my high school daze!
We got our favorite band shirts for ourselves, family, and even our grandkids!
This is the kind of novelty shop we appreciate!
Cheers to the crew at Aaron’s R&R for being there when we came through town!

  7. Sex, drugs and rock n roll!
This place has it all! This is your go-to headquarters for all your party supply needs. They have all the stuff that you need to work on your rock n roll punk lifestyle. They have a huge selection of t-shirts, stickers, posters, and party accessories. This is the place you need to go if you’re gearing up for a night of live music in the Live Music Capitol of the World. This store is right in the middle of things on 6th Street, where you’re sure to catch a live band. They are open late, so you can run in and get your party supplies until 1am. They have lots of edgy merchandise that will certainly irk da’ Man.
The staff is friendly, and they offer a large variety of strange stuff to check out. The merchandise is well organized and clearly priced. They say, “Keep Austin Weird.” This place certainly keeping it weird. They’ve been around forever- I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid!
Austin is known for its live music, and this is a perfect place to get stuff that projects the proper amount of street cred for the number of concerts you’ve seen. (Note: You can’t buy sex, drugs, or rocks here. It is not related to Aaron’s Rent-a-Center.)

  8. Spencer’s at your local mall only wishes it could be as half as cool and awesome as Aaron’s Rock & Roll store. I’ve been shopping at this place for over 20 years now and it will always be my go to source for unique gifts. Not just another cookie-cutter souvenir store, you’ll truly be hard pressed to find such an weird array of retail odds and ends gathered for sale in once place anywhere else.

  9. If you’re looking for any kind of music memorabilia in the form of new merch, check Aaron’s out.

DVDs, buttons, bumper stickers, tees–they’ve pretty much got it covered. In fact, there’s so much here to see you could spend hours.

While their forte is rock and roll, you’ll find some unexpected things, too, like a metal lunchbox featuring the Twilight Zone “Kanamit” episode. Weird, but uber cool.

  11. Jake and Joey provided exceptional customer service, far exceeding expectations. I’m a big fan of the unique items I can only find here. Huge fan of the horse head masks, Nintendo memorabilia, and unique clothing. Will come back with my wife when I visit Austin again.
