Karaoke is killer! We were in town for the week and had such a good time, we didn’t go anywhere else all week. The line for karaoke can get a little long, so I suggest coming right at karaoke time. Drinks and sports are on until then so it’s still not boring. The staff is amazing and friendly. The bouncers were my favorite. They have no problem doing their job and having a conversation with you if you go out for a smoke break. Definitely will visit again next time I’m in Austin!

Egos has the best bartenders, and best regulars in town! It is such a fun dive karaoke bar! I take all of my my friends that come in from out of town here! Definitely recommend!

This was a fun little dive.
It was my 21st & the bartender & the door man were super sweet.
They had karaoke on the night we went & that was super fun!
They also had Brut Austin east cider (which in my opinion is the best one!)
I would for sure come here again.

Happen to stop by the other night at Ego’s for a couple of beers. As everyone has mention, it is located in a garage space under an apartment complex. On this particular night there was a line. I had to wait on a line. Oh boy. I am glad I did.

As soon as you walk in. You can feel the energy of people having a good time. The place was packed on Halloween weekend, but there was plenty of room to make a move for drinks, for signing, for picking up your future ex significant other. Lots of talent across the board.

While I did not participate in Karaoke. The signing was entertaining. Lots of songs that are fan favorites. Everyone seem to be enjoying themselves. I was.

During this particular week Austin was under water alert with various restrictions. Ego’s met the challenge and exceeded my expectations of HACCP. Good job guys.

The staff had everything under control. ID’s at the door. Number of guests inside the bar. Service for drinks. Flow of the crowd. Singers on queue for their moment on stage. Ego’s was a well-run machine with no major hiccups.

CC friendly. They proof, so have ID. Two max per order per person on drinks. Two pool tables. Lots of seating. Solid place for FUN…..

Probably the best karaoke bar in Austin, and I really don’t even like karaoke.

Like seriously we always bring people from out of town here. It’s kind of divey but I like that. This is Austin. C’mon. Karaoke isn’t exactly a posh art.

The stage is cool. They have a ton of songs to choose from. Drink prices are reasonable. And service is usually pretty on point. The crowd is also always fun, which is a necessity with karaoke.

A quintessential Austin spot in my humble opinion.

Glad to have found this spot to do karaoke. It is a dive bar –which means if you like dive bars, you’ll be in heaven. If you don’t like dive bars, why did you go in? I adore dive bars and that made it all the better.

I went in on a Sunday night and found it hoppin’. The singers were clearly having fun. It was apparent there were a number of regulars. One of the best parts was how encouraging it was and that they had a big screen that all could see. People sang along and it was great. Although the KJ was a bit gruff, he overall seemed to be enjoying himself. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.

Definitely worth checking out.

An absolute blast with a long list of songs and crowds.

If you want to go on a Saturday night go there around 8 pm or you will be waiting on a line to get in. Yes that means outside in the parking garage for those to leave.

The drinks are done well and the staff is good about serving sizes, however the DJ sign up listen is brutal.

Don’t be surprised if you wait two hours to sing a song. You’ll always be at the bottom of the que, and the karaoke dj will always be at the top of the que.
