Captain Brandon was great & made our boat time the best!! We had so much fun, we ended up extending our time because we didn’t want to go back, worth every penny! 1000% would recommend, it made our girls batchlorette weekend for SURE! Also, the whole Float on team was friendly & helpful! They made our experience that much better huge thank you to float on!

I had the most amazing time on Lake Austin for my birthday/bachelorette weekend!! Vince was fantastic and the entire Float On boat experience couldn’t have been more enjoyable. I would definitely use their services again in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering a boating experience in Austin!! Thank you Vince and the entire Float On team!

Had an amazing time on Lake Austin with Vince. Float ok boat rentals was very professional, affordable, and extremely enjoyable. I wouldn’t use any other company for a boat rental while in Austin. Highly recommend!

We were fascinated!!! It’s a safe trip with amazing views. The boat is in optimal condition. The service is excellent. David and Santana (owners) are very kind. It is a trip that must be done if you live or are on vacation in Austin.

Wow, what an AWESOME experience! I had some co-workers come into town and I thought it would be fun to rent a nice speed boat and have a tour around Lake Austin. I didn’t want the hassle and stress of driving myself and I found “Float On” boat rentals on Yelp and agree with the amazing reviews!

Originally I booked a 3 hour rental window during the late afternoon but the day prior I requested to change to the morning because it has been so hot lately. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate my change request the day before my rental!

We arrived about 20 minutes early as the instructions requested and the captain gave us a call as we were parking to check in. He was very polite and mentioned to come to the boat docks whenever we were ready. We walked down to the boat docks and he picked us up and helped us onto the boat which happened to be a new looking red speed boat.

We brought a cooler and some snacks and the five of us had plenty of room on the boat. Our captain was very nice and asked us if we wanted to play music and take a stroll around the lake before swimming. He showed us all around and pointed out some of the cool homes along the side of Lake Austin. It was an awesome experience and we swam in two different parts of the lake. We really loved the lily pad to hang out on! The entire experience was fantastic and I highly recommend “Float On” boat rentals for a stress-free, relaxing and fun water experience! We look forward to trying out the pontoon boat on Lake Travis next time!

You have to book with Float On for your next trip out on Lake Austin! We had an amazing afternoon out on the lake. Our captain was very accommodating and made sure we all stayed ‘hydrated’ while in the water. He took us to a couple of nice coves to hang out. Their new pontoon boats are really nice and comfortable for an easy cruise.

Easy booking, great communication, and timely for our afternoon on the lake!

Amazing experience! You go on a brief tour and then head to the cover spot where all the boats dock together and hang out. The captains are all smart and knowledgeable, respect the water and laws but also know how to show you a good time. You have a float raft at the end of the boat and it’s just an all around great time. Easy to find, hop on and enjoy the day

Had a fantastic day out on Lake Travis with family and friends. Our captain Jason did a superb job! Very professional, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Jason! Reservations and communication up until the time of departure was spot on!

Spent the day on Lake Travis with a group of 8 close friends and our amazing captain Jason. We anchored in Devils Cove and spent a relaxing g day with music, sun and laughter. Will definitely be doing this again soon and highly recommend Float On for a good time.

Can I please give these guys like infinity stars? They work hard and Their job is to make sure people have fun. But they don’t get to drink with us because they are DD. Sorry guys! This is a full on lake limo or party limo (sans stripper pole if that’s how you like it!). We had great drinks for our sunset booze cruise by Native Texan and East Ciders and of course my favorite drink in allllll the land…. (insert fanfair here) Uncle Billys Canned Cocktails. I will fight you for a lady bird lemonade so don’t try to take mine. And they are ALL mine. The captain on our boat was great and of course the company (bc we choose who we go with 😉 But I cannot wait to get out there during the day sometime. It adds up to about 45 a person before tip if you get 12 ppl on your boat. Check out the fireworks on the lake when Austin has those or make your own at Devils Cove. It’s ALL fun! Please baby Jesus don’t let this be my last time to go on float on boat!!! If you are a tourist, don’t just tool around Austin sweating your ass off… take my advice and go jump in the lake!!!

This was my absolute favorite part about my trip to Austin. We threw a bachelorette party for one of my girlfriends and chose Float On to explore the lake. Little did I know that in addition to driving around the lake, they stop and there’s a literal party of boats at the end of it all. It was the most fun and the bachelorette certainly had a great time. I will definitely recommend Float On to any of my friends heading to Austin. Oh and our boat captain, was awesome!

I reached out to the company via email and they were so responsive! I booked with them because of my great experience through a Yelp Elite event. The captain texted me the day of to say hi. The whole experience of renting a boat with a very chill captain who took us to Devil’s Cove to hang out was effortless. My whole group of friends had a great time. We had 4 hours on the lake and the foam lily pad is such a great add on. Would book with them again!

We had a great time on the sunset booze cruise 🙂 they were a little late/unorganized, but they explained that it’s a new option that they just started! Since they provided drinks, the ticket value was well worth it! Would definitely do this again!

Highly recommend. This group is exceptional and took care of our group from the very beginning. They stayed in touch with us via text before hand to make sure the onboarding process was flawless and our captain was so chill and quickly became part of the group.

We will definitely be using Float On Austin Boat Rentals as much as possible this summer!

Awesome service and captains! I was here for a special event. I got to meet and talk with the owner of the company who is nice and personable. The boat I was on captain (sorry I forgot his name) was very down to earth, knowledgeable about all the houses and the lake. The captain was good stirring the boat and explaining why the boat rocks back and forth sometimes. The captain made sure to take us to all the secluded areas to enjoy the lovely views! I will definitely be back on the boat this summer!

Float On did a great job hosting an event I’ve attended today.
On time and ready to drive us around. Our captain (Vince) was cool and knowledgeable of anything in the water.
His driving was safe and still fun. Super accommodating.

Float On Lake Austin Boat was SUCH an amazing experience.

Our captain Vince arrived early and was on time. Parking was so convenient. You literally park and the boat pulls up by the dock to scoop you.

The trip was filled with great classic tunes, we went to the hidden island where there was a mini canal of beautiful homes. We had the best view of the 360 bridge.

Overall a fantastic experience! We loved the entire trip and will definitely book with them again over Summer!

Booking Float On for Labor Day Weekend for a family trip to Austin for my daughter’s 21st birthday was the BEST part of our trip. Being we are not from Austin, but have a lot of lake and boating experience, I wanted to make it an experience we would LOVE. Float On was beyond our expectations.

It started with the van picking us where we were staying. She brought us to the store to purchase the necessities for the day. She brought us to the dock where Float On crew helped us carry all the bags to the pontoon boat.

We had Robert as our captain, and he was AMAZING! He provided a tour of the lake for us, which we appreciated since we weren’t from Austin. He played great music and really gave us the time to do what we wished for the 4 hours. He told us about the cove where boats tie up and people float and interact with other boats. It was perfect. We all wish we could have stayed on the lake longer than I had booked.

I strongly recommend booking Float On! I also would recommend booking the van for pick up and drop off. Float On and Robert, Thank you for making my daughter’s 21st birthday so special with my kids.

Whether you’re from Austin or visiting and looking for a lake experience, Float On is who you want to take you out on the water. Their booking system was super efficient, and we were able to pick out a boat that fit for our whole group. I loved that yeti coolers came included on board, all we had to do was bring our food, drinks, and ice and it was so easy!
Our driver really knew the lake, so he took us to all the hip spots. Overall it was a really fun way for us to experience the lake, and have a boat day without owning a boat! Highly recommend Float On!

We have used Float On for the last 3 years. I’m always very impressed with how professional and helpful they are. Willow and Ramon are our normal boat captains and both do a fantastic job. I look forward every year to our annual trip with these guys. They’ve become part of my paddle team!

The boats are well maintained, well equipped and super clean. We have never had any issue at all.

Float On is also a big supporter of the ATX community and participate in Dam That Cancer every year. They help over 180 paddlers paddle 21 miles from Mansfield to Hula on Lake Austin. Their support boats make sure everyone is well hydrated and are on stand by to help when needed. Their employees are all really invested and I think the event is highlight for their year. I appreciate everything they do to help out!
