  4. Hootie performed its reunion tour at this wonderful outdoor amphitheater. Shows was rocking and the set-up was perfect. We’re lucky to have this venue in Austin

  6. The seating is superb and the sound system is spectacular. Excellent facilities for musical venues. I have been here before and never had a bad seat. I like the festival seating behind the main seating.

  7. This was my first time at this amphitheater. My daughter and I came here to see Bastille perform. It’s size makes it more intimate than larger venues. We sat in the front row right behind the pit. We could still see the stage as we were sitting as the pit slopes down somewhat to allow better line of vision for the people behind them. Overall it was well run and managed although there could have been more signage to direct people, especially first timers, where to go as there are other attractions in the immediate area. The best way to get there is via the toll roads otherwise you’ll have to snake around like we did to get there without a toll fee.

  8. I always enjoy going to concerts here. The acoustics are pretty good and I always try to get seats in my preferred section, 103. You sometimes have to pay for parking depending on the concert. Get ready to get your steps in. The seats aren’t covered by a roof so bring a poncho if there is a chance of rain. It’s a fun venue and if you are in Austin for something at the Formula 1 track, there are often concerts here at the same time.

  9. This is a great, well-run, and comfortable venue for live music. I’ve been to lots of big concerts but this was a great experience. I really like the concessions area- it is open, big and the edge is lined with plenty of bistro tables with views of the show. There is also a bar with a view!

That staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back for another concert.

  10. Great concert venue! Lawn seats are great, venue is very clean. You can easily get to food and drinks between acts, and even see the stage from tables in the eating area. Lots of parking and convenient shuttles to get to the amphitheatre from the parking lot.

  11. Good vibe, grass was actually comfortable, and not too far away from the stage to be able to see clearly. Good food selection, a bit pricey, but pretty good compared to other venues. Easy to navigate, but definitely get paid parking. $10 can save you 20-40 minutes of walking depending on when you arrive. Good light show, fire included. Good sound mixing. Nice to get fresh air, they were smart enough to face the stage west so the sun is at your back, not your face. They always have a good lineup, it’s turning into a great venue.

  12. An awesome venue. We were here to see Spoon, Cage the Elephant & Beck which was a great show. We had lawn tickets which is a good space and we got there early enough to have a good spot. The only downside is the stupid bad policy. My advise if do not bring one at all as you can only have a bag with one pocket?!?!! What women’s purse has one pocket. And why on earth is that a reasonable restriction?! Unless it was just to get $10 extra which is the bag check fee.

  13. This is a super awesome venue as long as you are prepared to beat the heat. They do have water refill stations which is super helpful. I highly recommend bringing a cooling towel and sun umbrella. I brought my two year old and we were still able to fully enjoy the bands playing. The food trucks were also amazing! It is a huge area and paying extra for closer parking or a bike taxi to the door would probably be very beneficial!

  14. The staff is always super nice and helpful. Great venue can see from anywhere. Plenty of bathrooms and free water. Not that we’re here for food but it would be nice if they added some vegan options.

  15. This is a great venue to see live concerts. The lawn is usually well kept. There is a limit on the blanket size that people need to be aware of. There is plenty of food vendors although it is overpriced but that is kinda expected at any big venue. Parking is usually very organized and the walk isn’t too bad. The lines usually flow very quickly so you aren’t waiting long.

  16. Love the experience here. There are always a lot of food trucks, beer, wine, and cocktails too. They will transfer cans to plastic cups if you’re in the closer sections/pit. Configurations differ – I’ve seen the pit take on different sizes depending on the concert…. I guess some fan bases have more energy than others… Consider getting premium parking in B or D lot if available.
