A dive speakeasy. I visit most all mixology and craft bars. Great freaking speciality cocktails here. I do wish they had a patio. Not really a destination bar yet, but definitely a great place to stop by.

Stopped in and happy we did — great vibe, terrific music, beer selection great lots of microbrews friend had Moscow mule and claims best ever! Bartender had recommendations and they were great! Terrific shuffleboard table and baseball on TV — will be back!

I’ve been looking to try this place since they reopened! Decide to come with my bf for a few drinks and it did not disappoint. My view point from someone who’s been I the food and bev biz for a looming time was that the bartenders were pros and made fantastic craft cocktails! I had a New York Sour, wow, never would have thought of this combo but I loved it! The ultimately test was the token French 75, I’ve tried this all over town as a bench mark. They knocked input of the park! Go here!

This is my favorite Cheers. My neighborhood bar where the AC is cold, the drinks are strong, and the bartenders are friendly and fun to look at! I love everything about the new design. It’s clean, the music is great, and it’s just dark enough to sit in there by yourself for a cold drink! If you haven’t checked out this local spot, you’re missing out!

Great atmosphere, cool decor and laid back vibe. South Lamar needs more hang out joints like this. Understandably a lot of folks will reminisce about the horseshoe, and I loved it too… But they’ve done a great job with this place. It’s not over done or over priced, but it’s also not a dumpster dive bar.

This is what South Austin is all about… No corporate bullshit or chain flair… A locally-owned hangout with good drinks that’s not pretentious and not overdone.
