1 part old west – 1 part Tron – 1 part west TX – 1 part West World – and a dash of Lynch = High Noon.

High Noon, in the heart of East Austin, is traditional Western saloon meets Stanley Kubrick. An early 1900s saloon with a touch of peyote.

The Cezar Chavez venue offers up house cocktails like mezcal negronis and watermelon margaritas, in addition to wine, champagne, and local draft beers.

There’s plenty of outdoor patio space and a food truck on site.

  3. Great spot with an amazing ambience. I felt like I was in a Kubrick movie. The sandia Margarita was delicious & bartender Tara was adorable

  4. I miss Craftsman, but High Noon is a worthy shoe-filler. The atmosphere and interior is absolutely beautiful (seriously, the bathroom is to die for and 100% drunk girl group selfie worthy). Drinks are great and it’s never too too crowded. Small outside area out back and several tables spaced out out front. Bartenders are super friendly and have great suggestions if you’re unsure! Location is great too, just down Cesar Chavez from downtown, right across from Drinks Lounge and next to Long Play (formerly Stay Gold, another RIP mention). No parking lot, but there is some street parking to the left of the building. Uber over and hit up the neighborhood if you’re visiting!

  5. Our new go to place in Austin. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and made me literally my new all time favorite drink after asking about my taste preferences. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The vibe is trendy/artistic but also intimate. Also…. pizza cones food truck out back?! I mean….

  9. Nice cocktail bar in East Austin! Very knowledgeable bartender. You can tell him what you want and he’ll make it for you. Reminded me of NYC

  10. Really cool interior. Comfy seating. Poppin food truck in back. Friendly staff.

Most importantly: talented veteran bartenders make consistently delicious drinks

I’m in real estate so I’m a building nerd so it was cool to see the architectural Easter eggs such as the curved glass mirrors that match the curves of the rear windows and the Pegasus under the bar footrest.
    (is Pegasi plural?)
