Go-to brunch spot. I love the old school pharmacy feel. It’s not too kitschy.

I live on the east side, and I end up here on Saturday and Sunday pretty frequently. I’ve tried most of the menu, and it’s all been good. I especially love the ham steak and grits. I’m not even much of a grits guy, but I can’t help but order this with just a little habanero Yellow Bird sauce. (I called it Angry Bird sauce for almost a year before anyone corrected me.)

The bloody mary comes with a forest in it, and the carafe of mimosa comes in a beaker. They have homemade sodas, and Lick Honest Ice Creams. The service has generally been good with a couple of exceptions, but we still always have a good time.

The cutest place!!

Surprisingly not too busy for s Sunday brunch place, no reservation and we were seated right away. Patio was busy, but a few open tables inside so we took one.

Parking lot is super small, so mainly street parking, but lots around.

Love the atmosphere, and overall look of the restaurant!

Menu is small, but delicious! I had the breakfast fan which in the croissant and my friend the biscuits. We both loved our dishes. We also both ordered a lattes which were pretty strong, and took a lot of sugar to make drinkable but we’re good.

Prices were reasonable, would def go back!!

Went in for brunch on a Saturday morning after deciding it was too hot to sit outdoors at Paperboy located next door. I’m not entirely sure about their parking situation, but I managed to find a spot on the street about a block away and assumed it was fine to park there. It was a decently busy day, but we were seated pretty quickly (indoors with A/C!!!). The brunch menu wasn’t huge but had enough of your variety brunch staples. I ordered a glass of their house punch, a grapefruit-based drink spiked with some gin and bubbly. It was served in an old school punch glass/teacup and was a really refreshing brunch drink, though it could have used a touch more of gin.

As far as food, I went with the Smokey Denmark’s (a local BBQ joint) bangers and eggs while my friend tried their blueberry pancakes. Both came out relatively fast and were very nicely plated. The sausage was really well cooked, slightly crispy at the ends (exactly how I like it), and topped with a sweet tomato relish and arugula. I do feel that the amount of eggs was lacking, but what I did get was light and fluffy. The pancakes were ok but not particularly special. However, for $8, I do feel that an order of three, plate-sized pancakes loaded with blueberries is a great bargain.

This place is absolutely beautiful and their food and service is top notch.

Their Mac and cheese (with broccoli added upon waitress suggestion) was delicious!! As well as their fried egg sandwich (yum!!)and their peewee pork belly sandwich. Their pickpocket strawberry soda was refreshing and not overly sweet too.

Food was seriously great. And we came during happy hour when appetizers and sandwiches are half off so our bill came out to be about $20 total.
It was great.

So worth. Definitely coming back. Very insta worthy.
