Such a fun experience! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! First we checked in (it was actually a little busy), but social distancing guidelines were enforced and adhered to. After we watched a brief demo of rules and regulations to follow which was straightforward and great. Since I have prior experience kayaking we just got our life jackets and headed to get our kayaks which the staff was setting up. I had such a great experience.

I’ve been to different locations for Kayak over the years. Whether it’s been kayaking on the river or paddle boarding, have always had fun and the service has been consistently great. Would highly recommend.

Scheduled a tour on a Wednesday afternoon during a quick vacation to Austin. I had never been kayaking before. To my surprise it ended up being a private tour, just Doug and I. Doug was super cool and fun! Such a good time! Highly recommend Doug and Lone Star Kayak tours for a chill and relaxing afternoon on the water. Enjoyed it so much, I’ll be looking to purchase a kayak when I get back home. Thanks Doug!

Four of us went on a three-hour kayak tour in solo kayaks and had a fabulous time! Everything was top notch, especially our guide, who was attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely recommend going on the tour, and we will be going back again! Thank you!

Great place to rent kayaks. I’ve rented from this place several times. Try to call ahead to make reservation they get really busy. They also go through some safety procedures with you. I look forward to renting kayaks next summer!
