  1. Solid happy hour, the cucumber tini with the salty rim was yummy.

  2. I am obsessed with Rainey Street and Lucille was no exception. Cute little spot with an awesome outdoor space and bar inside. Super trendy with fun music, hammocks and outdoor activities. I could see myself coming here all the time if I ever moved to Austin! Drinks are also very delicious and the prices aren’t too bad.

  3. I came here with a few friends on a Sunday afternoon. Their patio is is really nice with lots of seating. Delicious strawberry cocktails and margaritas were only $5 (and pretty strong).

  4. Lucille’s offers a fun atmosphere to relax with friends, enjoy the back patio, play yard games or relax in a hammock! Yes, they have hammocks (disclaimer: proceed with caution following 2 or more drinks)! They offer a spicy margarita, unique to any marg I have had in the past! Reasonable happy hour specials! Definitely would go back my next time in Austin!

  5. Stephanie ! Is my favorite person here, along with pepper the New Foundland you usually see !
We walked in and were immediately seen, and helped…even with a busy bar..we weren’t rushed, she recommended an amazing shot, and an amazing drink…ask her the name of it…it tastes like watermelon and is mostly rum.
My friend and I were jumping up and down, and someone bumped into us, we dropped our drink and we were overly apologetic she was super cool and cleaned it up.
We had just gotten there and were clearly sober, it was nice for her to say it happens and hang out for a second to say Happy Birthday to the guy in our group and ask how our night was !

I can’t wait to go back to see her !
    You rock !

I already loved this bar, because of the hammocks, but now with it being cold, there is heaters and tents to stay warm !
    See ya soon Lucilles !

  6. Lucille is such a cute little place to hangout and have some drinks in Austin! Our group started the night here over the weekend, and I’m super glad we went around exploring. Lucille is located on a big street that has many bars and lounges to hop around at. It looks like a cute house on the outside. The interior is pretty cool with a lot of seating areas all around. What I like the MOST about Lucille is that they have a back outdoor seating area, and both the inside and outside have a bar that you can order drinks from. There wasn’t too much of a huge line for drinks as well which was awesome. There are cute little light lines hanging and there were plenty of outdoor seating areas too.

All of the workers were super nice and professional. They made sure that they got everyone’s drinks in order and that everyone was having a great time. I unfortunately didn’t order any of their specialty drinks but I will definitely try next time I come back! Overall, a great first time experience here at Lucille!

  7. I bookmarked it for a reason.
Cool open house with bar and bartenders that make big boy drinks at reasonable prices.
Dog friendly, need I say more?
No bad here. Food trucks nearby to get your munch on.

  8. My fiance and I loved Lucille when we visited Austin. We went on a Sunday evening and spent some time in the back patio area. The bartender made me a delicious lemon and coconut water mojito when the daily special of strawberry was out, and it worked out even better!

You can play cornhole by trading your ID at the bar for the bean bags, and we were joined for a couple of matches by some other patrons as well. They also offer a small putting green, giant checkers, and some other backyard hangout games that were perfect for a summer Sunday Funday. Our favorite Rainey St. bar!

  9. Great HH spot.

Their carefully crafted cocktails are only $5 during happy hour, and their backyard patio with cornhole and giant jenga adds to the chill eccentric Austin vibe.

  10. Lucille is my favorite place to start my Sunday fundays on Rainey street. They have amazing bloody Mary’s that provide just enough kick to get me over that Saturday-induced hangover and help me begin a new buzz. There are several activities to keep you busy such as checkers, cornhole, and sitting on hammocks (if you consider that an activity). The bar has a decent amount of shade and a few misters to help with the Texas heat.

Interestingly, there are always several well-behaved dogs at this particular bar and the owners are eager to let you pet them. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique Austin experience, a place to drink, or just some furry love!!

  11. I came here with a friend for some after dinner drinks and a relaxing good time. It looks like an old home converted into a bar. There is plenty of space outside to sit and play games. I loved being outside because it was such a beautiful night. We sat on the side of the house and enjoyed giant Jenga. We met some other people playing games and made new friends. I like that the outside is dog friendly.

Our drinks weren’t anything to rave about but we had a great time. I would like to check it out again when I return to Austin.
