Spider House is an eclectic west campus bar & entertainment venue featuring diverse events, a full bar & great patio with food trucks.

Spider House is one of Austin’s legendary hotspots since 1995. The venue offers a romantic european atmosphere in a 1920’s bungalow home.

It’s a great environment to meet friends, bring visiting guests, while sipping delicious specialty fresh Juiceland cocktails.

Spider House also has food from a host of food trucks in their roomy food court. Work remotely courtesy of the free Wi-Fi until 2AM every night.

The inside bar offers plenty of nooks and crannies for work or pleasure. The cafe features gourmet espresso coffee with a wide selection of 24 local, craft beers on tap, wine list, full bar, as well teas, and all natural soda’s.

The Christmas lights blanketed outdoor patio includes one-of-a-kind antiques and art installation pieces, a novelty collection of garden statues, and an abundance of booths, swings, and table tops. The premises includes an indoor Ballroom Event Space.

We host weekly theater shows as well as large and small private parties, and fundraisers. We can also can accommodate your last minute large group get together in our private outdoor space, we call the “Chapel” perfect for outdoor, weddings special events, private parties, nightly film screenings which comes equipped with it’s own Tiki Bar, making it ideal for private party rentals! Large parking lot and plenty of free street and park parking surrounds Spider House.

One of the best things about Austin. Very unique, quirky and colorful in an awesome old Austin way, yet you can catch bands like Ronnie Spector, Temples, Dale Watson and all your favorite local acts as well. It’s a place that HAS to be experienced. Cute servers, too.

We sat outside because we brought my daughter’s dog….Sooo great to be able to bring him. The ambience was delightful, the service was spot on and our food was excellent. Loved the sangria! My daughter goes there alot, but when Im in town, it is now a Must go to!

My kind of place! Have lived inn Austin for years and had never been here before. Great staff, band and enjoyed watching this dance group go to town. Will definitely be back!
