Guys – We’ll be rolling out our T Shirt shopping cart in the next few days. We’ll also be taking live a form for you to send us your tee shirt artwork and set up your Stripe account to direct deposit tee shirt sales proceeds directly into your bank account. We’d like to do all we can to generate revenue for all our partners during this COVID-19 event.
We’ll be pricing the T’s so that you will net $10 per shirt. Our vendors Printify and Stripe will handle printing, payment processing & shipment. Below is an FAQ about the offering. Please let us know if you are interested.
Shopping Cart FAQ’s
How will the T Shirt order be printed & fulfilled, and are we involved
We’ve chosen Printify one of the largest and best respected on-demand printing/fulfillment companies. Printify accepts, prints, and fulfills the order. Neither you or LakeTravis.com (thinAIR Solutions, LLC.) are involved in that process.
What size should the logo image be
T-shirt design should be 3600 px × 4800 px, 300dpi and in ,jpg or .png format. If it is wider than tall use the 3600 px number, if it is taller than wide use the 4800 px number. Call if you have any questions here (512) 261-5121.
Who owns the image
The image is yours. We make no claims. As soon as you wish any shopping cart T Shirt of yours to be removed, notify us and the image and that cart item will be removed.
How will the shirts be printed
The prints won’t be screenprinted – all of Printify’s print providers only offer the DTG printing method, meaning the print will sit on top of the garment, and thus guarantees colors more vibrant than the ones you’d get from screenprinting. The designs will be printed in CMYK, so we definitely recommend creating the design in CMYK or making sure the colors will work with CMYK as well as RGB. This mostly concerns very bright neon colors, which can’t be printed very well in CMYK.
Where will the shirts for sale be displayed
Your shirt will be displayed three places on LostinAustin.org – 1) the mainpage (initially under a “Support Our Austin Businesses” banner), 2) our Austin T Shirt Page and 3) on your listing page on our site.
What will we make on each shirt sale
Printify’s average fulfillment cost per shirt including shipping is about $12-$14, Stripe’s payment portal is about $3. We will price your shirt where your payment will be $10. So depending on the shirt fabric and size they may be priced from $27 to $35 each. LakeTravis.com will receive a transaction fee depending on the remaining margins.
What will be the shirt quality
We’re using two shirt fabrics:
Unisex Jersey Short Sleeve Tee – Bella+Canvas 3001
Retail fit. 100% Soft cotton (fibre content may vary for different colors). Light fabric (4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²)). Tear away label. Runs true to size.
Unisex Triblend Tee – Bella+Canvas 3413
50% Polyester 25% Combed and ring-spun Cotton 25% Rayon. Extra Light fabric (3.8 oz/yd² (110 g/m²)). Sewn in label. Retail Fit.
What is the return policy and will we be involved
Printify does not accept returns, but will gladly reimburse for any misprinted or damaged items. All we need is the order ID and photos from the customer.
How will we be paid
Payment will be via ACH thru Stripe directly to your bank account. After filling out our form you will be directed to a stripe set-up page to set up your shirt settlement. LostinAustin.org will have zero access to your bank settlement information.
Will we be notified when a shirt is sold
Yes you will receive and immediate email notification after each sale, and the funds will be direct deposited in your bank via Stripe.
