Emanating from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, this group of killers root their approach to the new wave of funk rock in a refined knowledge of jazz fusion techniques and theories- but this is not just a show for jazz kids. With high flying guitar solos and soaring vocals, all rooted in a groove that is anything but restrained, Pump Action honors the breakneck motion of their funk forefathers to make it simply impossible for an audience to stand still.
