Lone Star Bar is pure classic Honky Tonk. This is your good old hole in the wall Texas Bar. The self described “National Bar of Texas” is just outside Lago Vista (Jonestown) on Lake Travis’ north shore. Friendly and inviting for regulars and newcomers alike.

Lone Star offers cold beer and setups when you bring your own bottle (BYOB). There’s a lounge area, pool tables, full stage and dance floor. There’s a big ice-house backyard with seating, lighting and a second stage for live music when the weather’s right. Live music, karaoke and chicken bingo. Watch for pool and dart tournaments and lot’s of other special events.

  1. In the almost 20 years in TX I haven’t had such a good time at a bar. It felt like Cheers…laid back, everyone was chill, friendly. It’s a townie vibe iykyk. Can’t wait to go back for live music and karaoke.

  4. Great times w great people. Full bar w the option to bring ur own food or have pizza delivered. Kaoroke nights and live bands often. One of my favorite places to hang out in the Jonestown area. Good prices, no pretense.
