Amazingly located rustic roadside bar with views of the surounding hill county. They have numerous bar stools, tables, and outdoor patios, including terraces to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. They have stages inside and outside hosting several acts per week beneath a Texas flag or the Texas sky. Also a great place to sip a lone star while watching the cowboys win.
No bad days here.
They have a large free parking lot behind the building.

Excellent roadside find! The food, drinks, service, live music, and overall vibe was incredible. Swung by to just grab a bite to eat and started for several hours enjoying.

Highly recommend the Poodie Burger. It’s for a great kick with the spice. Seriously good if you enjoy a great burger.

Well done to the owners and staff. Will definitely be back.

Such a quintessential Texas bar. The band playing tonight sounded exactly like Johnny cash. Thoroughly enjoyed the music. Also has the most delicious burger I’ve had in the 5 years we’ve been living in Austin. Phenomenal burger.

Poodies has a delicious Poodie burger, and they have gluten free buns for those of us with a gluten intolerance!! Their menu also has other gluten free options including an Austin cider! Would love to come back another time for more music.

We stopped here for lunch just because we were curious about the place. I was expecting typical bar food, but was pleasantly surprised. I had the Philly wrap and it tasted great. I really love that you can get green chilies on everything. The hubby had the Philly chicken sandwich and he said it was good. The onion rings and fries were also very good.

We will definitely stop by again and have a Poodie burger.
