Established in 1993, Star Bar is the original west 6th street bar. After 20 years, we’re proud to say, we still are a neighborhood bar that has retained a lot of it’s original clientele.

We have two great patios. Our front patio is great for people watching and our back patio is a hidden gem, that is the perfect place to watch the game. The back patio is equipped with 8 televisions. 5 of which are 70 inches. We also tout one of the best BBQ trailers in Texas, Valentinas. We have 11 rotating taps dedicated to dispensing the best beer available in Texas.

As a staff, we love what we do. Many of us have worked at Star Bar for many years. We love football, hockey and sports in general. And we’re a craft beer bar that’s not scared to show the game. We may surprise you how unlike West 6th street we really are.

Had a great time here watching the packer game! It was full of packer fans and we won! So that helped. We wnded up chatting with Matt, one of the workers and he was a really greatguy and is one of the reasons we will be returning! Thanks for the great drinks and fun place to watchthe game.

Perfect place for a hangover cure! Ask for the “Hail Mary” on Sunday’s before 3. It’s a full Bloody Mary with a pterrys burger, a honey bun, and some McDonald’s nuggets. Who doesn’t love to mix alcohol and comfort food!? The staff was super friendly and accommodating to my vegetarian friend!

Came here Sunday for some NFL playoff action with a serious hangover and in need of a drink haha. We were immediately greeted by the bar tender and told the specials which were $4 double mimosas and a bloody mary bar! She had me at double mimosas. We ordered those and I was surprised how an entire bottle of champagne was used for our order of three! CHEERS!! There is inside seating, outdoor seating and also covered patio seating in the back complete with artificial turf 🙂 There is another bar in the back as well as bathrooms and everywhere here is dog friendly. Drinks were great and very affordable. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Loved their bar T-shirts as well. Will definitely visit again when I’m in town. 🙂
