Ate some pizza here. It was awesome. The drinks were cold. I’m not sure who my bar tender was but she was a black female. She kept my drink filled. I never saw the bottom of it. Very friendly and knowledgeable and directed me around. The pool table and the beer pong table were pretty awesome.

Friendly bartender and nice people during the day. Got a court yard with 2 trees. You can also take a picture with the jacolope!

Stopped by The Jackalope and it’s a classic downtown bar that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The vibe is laid-back and local, with a mix of regulars and people just passing through. Drinks are straightforward and reasonably priced, and the burgers are actually solid if you’re hungry—not just an afterthought bar menu. It can get busy during peak hours, but that’s part of the atmosphere. Overall, it’s an easy place to grab a drink, hang out for a bit, and not overthink the night.

The food and service is excellent here. I had the chicken and Brie and it was great. Chicken was fresh, moist and tender. I also had the waffle fries with it and it was the perfect addition to the meal.

So I haven’t been to many “dive in bars” but this one was Great! I never knew that a bar could have delicious food but when I saw this place on Food Network voted the best burger, I knew I wanted to try it for myself.

The food did not disappoint, it was a mouthful of meat and cheesy goodness. Not to mention the waffle fries were super good, they were fresh and crispy and they had great drink specials. Pretty reasonable prices and the bar atmosphere with a rideable Jackalope added to the experience.

Only negative comment I have would be the chairs/bar stools were uncomfortable

Everything here is delicious. Naked ladies on the walls and a dark vampy vibe make this a really cool and grown up feeling place. The wings, burgers, and bloody Mary’s are the best I’ve honestly ever had.

This is the king of greasy food.
Do not come here expecting a light meal. The portions are huge and so is you’re risk of heart attack lmao. This place can be a great way to start off the night. I just wish they had more drink specials or something better for happy hours.

Since I’m always in the mood for Pantera, Black Sabbath, Slayer, and weird movies on the patio…I’m always in the mood for Jackalope.

One of the few good bars on dirty 6th for locals. I rarely find myself on dirty. In my early 20s I wouldn’t have even noticed this bar because this isn’t where the early 20s crowd hangs, unless you’re dying to take a pic with the jackalope at the entrance. Since I’ve been grown, Jackalope feeds my belly and my thirst quite well. Thanks for always serving up kick ass tunes on the patio, serving my favorite food (pizza) and having local brews on draft. They even have a fun cocktails menu for when you’re feeling kinda froufrou.

Tip: seating inside along the walls are only for customers who plan to order food.
